Attendance and Promotion Policies
Attendance
Policy
In
order to receive high school credit, students cannot exceed the state limit of 5
absences (per class) per semester classified as Type II or Type III (see pages
14-16 in student handbook).
NOTE: Attendance is taken in each class.
It is possible to lose credit for a single course due to missing more than 5 days in a
SPECIFIC CLASS PERIOD.
Promotion
Policy
To be placed in a 10th grade homeroom students must have earned a minimum of 5 units of high school credit including 1 unit of English and 1 unit of math.
