Special Services Welcome to the Department of Exceptional Services. District Five Schools offers a comprehensive free appropriate public education to all children with disabilities for students ages 3-21. These exceptional classes range from part-time to full-time and are located at various schools throughout the district. A separate special facility (The McCarthy-Teszler School) is also available and is operated by all seven Spartanburg school districts to meet appropriately the specialized needs of those with severe complex disabilities. |
